Veiga da Princesa Albarino | Rias Baixas, Spain
An authentic ‘farm’ Albariño. The vineyards were planted in 2002 after two years of uniting more than 200 small farms, plot by plot, and more than 70 different owners; a clear reflection of the Galician “smallholding” economy.
The chosen cultivation on a trellis makes for for more airy, sun-kissed and less acidic grapes than those obtained with other methods such as trained vines. Additionally, the vineyard avoids many the pesticide treatments applied in other subareas of the region.

Made with only the finest Albariño grapes in their farm of 18 hectares in the Tea County within the Apellation of Origin Rias Baixas.
Driving the trellis vines allows that the grapes are fully ventilated and sunny. The ideal characteristics of granitic terrain avoided much of the pesticide treatments and provide low acidity musts naturally. Thanks to this we eliminate the malolactic fermentation of wine and delicate varietal aroma and fresh flavor characteristic is respected.
