Elaborated in only the best vintages and selected from a very limited harvest, Cerradilla is composed of  90% Tempranillo and 10% Mazuelo grapes with  a long ageing of 20 months in new French oak.

The old vineyard of La Cerradilla is on a south-south-east unirrigated slope of chalky, stony soil.

Vallemayor has been the principal Rioja agency in Morgenrot’s portfolio for decades. They combine modern technology and traditional knowledge for the elaboration of their wines. American and French oak 225 ltr casks for the ageing are replaced when they’re six years old, assuring the best quality for the wines.
