Sevenhill 'Four Buckets' Chardonnay | Clare Valley, Australia

Four Buckets Chardonnay is an unoaked, engaging wine that wins appreciation through its approachable, refreshing style.

Fruit for the Four Buckets Chardonnay comes from Lloyds Farm vineyard, which is a highly regarded site to the north east of the winery on a gentle slope with red, sandy loam soils over limestone – classic terra rossa. The mature vines consistently yield high-quality fruit, with cropping levels kept to moderate levels to ensure generous flavours. The grapes were chill pressed and the juice allowed to settle for 5 days in stainless steel tanks before fermentation.

Four Buckets is a new, entry level pairing from Sevenhill.

Lifted aromas of grapefruit and citrus peel, followed by delightful flavours of lemon, vanilla and honeydew melon on the palate. The finish is crisp.
