Rocca Bastia Chardonnay | Veneto, Italy

The well travelled Chardonnay grape produced full and fresh wines when grown in the hills of northern Italy. More fruit than many southern French counterparts, more restrained than New World offerings.

‘Rocca Bastia’ represent a classic ‘International’ pair of Chardonnay and Merlot, each with its own subtle Italian flair. The Chardonnay is a fine entry level example; a good structure of minerality and fruit at an excellent price.
