Did you know that bees pollinate over two thirds of the world’s crops?
We are reliant on them for much of the food we eat. But the use of insecticides compounded with the loss of wildflower habitats and the mysterious Colony Collapse Disorder has created a serious decline of the bee population.
Planet Bee wine aims to both increase awareness and fund-raise – 50p per bottle is donated to the Friends of the Honey Bee. The back label highlights the importance of this and the problem facing bees and so far has raised over £15000 for the British Bee Keepers Association.
