Light My Fire | Valencia, Spain

£14.90

“Light my fire” was the first song written by Robby Krieger, The Doors’ guitarist. Apparently, Jim Morrison asked his fellow band members for help to write some songs. Krieger asked him what he could write about and Morrison answered something universal. So, Krieger was inspired by the four elements: Earth, Wind, Sea and Fire, although later he would only concentrate on one of them, Fire; influenced by “Play with Fire” by The Rolling Stones.

On 12th December 1970, “Light my fire” was the last song Jim Morrison sang at The Warehouse de New Orleans before his death in Paris on 3rd July 1971.
