A great representation of a 100% Pinot Noir from the south of France.
The vineyard is located in South Eastern Ardèche on the villages of Alba La Romaine and Villeneuve de Berg. It is planted on hillsides or gentle slopes made out of chalky-clay soils. The climate is typically Mediterranean.
The vines used to make this wine are grown according to a quality production charter: the yield is limited to 50hls per hectare and the harvest is handpicked. Following a 5 to 6 day maceration period, part of the harvest is matured in oak for 4 to 6 months.
