Origin: Moppa, Barossa Valley, Western Australia
Grapes: Saperavi
Tasting Notes: Crimson purple colour with a distinctive and intriguing, the nose captivates with its varietal rustic charm. Fresh beetroot juice, fragrant lemon thyme and plum fill the glass, evolving and opening further with time. A rich core of dark savoury fruit provides depth and intensity - notably figs and plums with earthy warm spice and subtle savoury oak. The tannins build and grow, providing a robust frame and depth to the palate. A wine that will uncoil with time to show more complexity and character with age.
