Micaela Cream (Unctous + Toothsome)
Cream is the one sweeter style of sherry in Micaela’s range, made by blending two others Oloroso and PX. Serve at 10°C – 12°C.
Micaela is the new design for the entry level range from Bodegas Barón. With a distinct and deliberate move away from a traditional image, Barón are expressing themselves with ultra-modern stylings.
The design represents a piece of woven cloth: the petals are those of the Passion flower – to symbolise the passion they have for their wines and the passion customers have for them.
Ageing: Minimum 4-5 years
ABV 17.5%
Grape Varieties: Palomino/Pedro Ximenez
Tasting notes: Dark amber colour with an intense smell of caramel and almonds which characterise the palate along with raisins and candied fruit. The finish is very well balanced.
Pairing suggestions: after a meal, dessert, cheese platter
