Avalon 0,5% Apple Cider (12 x 33cl) Asturias, Spain

£34.56

A low alcohol version of the premium Avalon Sidra (Spanish Cider) from Trabanco, a long established master cider maker. Semi-dry and with little added sugar its calorie content is lower than low-alcohol beers.

It is blended from a selection of sweet, bitter and sour apple varieties harvested from Trabanco’s own orchards. The apples are prepared using traditional methods which have been unchanged for centuries. The juice is fermented with indigenous yeasts in large chestnut casks, all in accordance to the guidelines for “Naturally Fermented Quality Cider.”

The name references the legendary Arthurian island of Avalon - Ynys Afallon - the place where King Arthur’s sword Excalibur was forged. Thus acknowledging a link between Asturian and Breton cider making to that of the UK West County.

Trabanco have recieved more than 50 cider awards in the past decade.
